William Edrich - Chief Executive | |
| T: 01484 351553 E: bill.edrich@yorkshireenergyservices.co.uk William Edrich has over 19 years of experience in the energy field, has represented the Local Government Association on energy matters at the EFRA select committee, the CBI Emission Trading Group and Innovation grants panel. Whilst at Kirklees Council, William wrote and implemented the domestic energy strategy and was successful in obtaining, managing and delivering around £20m in grant / support funding from a wide range of sources resulting in the Council obtaining a number of international and national awards and the establishment of the Kirklees Warm Zone; the first UK free insulation scheme to all residents in a local authority area. From June 2006 William has been the Chief Executive of Yorkshire Energy Services. |

Amanda Sleney - Finance Director | |

She is the Treasurer of the local school PTA which her 2 children attend and likes to keep fit running and biking on the hills around Holmfirth where she lives. She joined YES in 2006 and following 4 years of significant retail investment and heavy negotiation, was happy to accept the coveted “ YES Best Dressed Award 2010”! |

Mike Dyson - Managing Director, YESrenewables | |
| T: 01484 356700 E: mike.dyson@yesrenewables.co.uk Mike has been involved with insulation for most of his working life. He sold his original business to the Cape Industries Group and worked with them for 10 years, becoming UK Operations Director. He developed and sold on Dyson Insulations Ltd before joining Miller Pattison Ltd in 2009, rapidly becoming MD and managed the company’s growth from £5m to almost £100m. Prior to that, he developed and sold on two businesses of his own, also in insulation. He joined YES initially as an advisor to the Board, and became managing Director of solar subsidiary, YESrenewables in May 2011. |

David is a retired scientist and engineer, a former Kirklees Council Cabinet member and PCT non-executive director. He is Vice-Chair of the governing body of a large and successful secondary school and President of Huddersfield Amateur Operatic Society. He lives in Holmfirth and has been a member of the board since May 2000. |

Janet Russell OBE - Chair, YESrenewables | |
Janet is Director of her own company providing strategic advice on the environment and regulation. She joined the YES Board in 2011 in retirement from Kirklees MC, where she was Director of Environment, Transport and Property. Janet has been a member of several national task forces (including: Better Regulation and Reducing Red Tape) and admits to holding a season ticket at Elland Road for over 35 years! |

Nicola Turner | |
Nicola runs a small local manufacturing company and is married with four grown up children. She is a serving Kirklees Councillor and her responsibilities include deputy leader of the Liberal Democrat Group, Chair of the Public Rights of Way Forum and involvement in many local groups and committees. Her many interests and hobbies include being a school governor, treasurer of a local riding club and a member of Kirklees Bridleways Group. She has a keen interest in all things environmental and joined the Board of Yorkshire Energy Services in 2008. |

Heather Watts | |
Heather Watts has many years of experience in the energy industry and is well known by many stakeholders. She has been instrumental in the development of Energy Supplier Obligations including CERT and its predecessors, CESP and Social Obligations and putting the necessary delivery supply chains into place and is currently active in the development of Green Deal and the future Energy Company Obligation. She works for ScottishPower where she is responsible for energy efficiency and fuel poverty policy and represents ScottishPower externally on a number of external government and industry groups. |

Dr Philip Webber | |
Phil is a well-respected UK practitioner in the low carbon and environmental agendas. He managed the Kirklees Environment Unit for 20 years, which achieved many top UK awards including Ashden and Green Apple. He has an in-depth practical experience of delivering and managing large scale environmental programmes. Phil is also a visiting Professor at Leeds University and working with the Centre for Low Carbon Futures (Universities of Hull, Leeds, Sheffield and York) and Centre for Climate Change Economics and Policy (Leeds, LSE) for 1 day a week. He is currently working on developing the mini Stern models, work towards a national energy data base, Green Deal and other low carbon investment approaches. |

Richard Grant | |
Richard is a marine ecologist with some 30 years experience working as an Environmental Scientist in the Oil and Gas Industry. In 1998 he was appointed Group Head of Environment for BG. In 2000 Richard took on the delivery of Transco’s and National Grid’s Affordable Warmth programme: - a £500m fuel poverty and domestic energy efficiency programme that delivered benefits to some 1.1 million homes. All his energy efficiency activities were built around the simple concept of targeting fuel poverty and bringing integrated funding and solutions to bear on a cost effective ‘one-stop-shop’ basis. Richard has an OBE and since leaving National Grid in late 2008, he has continued to support the stand-alone Community Interest Companies he created and in an advisory capacity has helped shape an Institute of Geo-engineering at Oxford University. |
