YES Become Government Endorsed Green Deal Provider
Yorkshire Energy Services will play an active role in the Green Deal in providing and managing the finance needed for householders and small businesses to access effective energy saving services.
The highly anticipated Green Deal is set to launch in October 2012 and will help thousands of residents save energy through domestic installations (e.g. insulation, central heating, renewable technologies etc) with no upfront costs. Unlike other finance programmes, repayments are linked to the participant’s energy bills and set at a lower rate than the money they saved on energy over a fixed period. Customers are therefore able to save money and improve their properties efficiency without breaking the bank.
Chief Executive of Yorkshire Energy Services, William Edrich, is delighted to support Green Deal and work in partnership with DECC on the initial developments of the programme. “It is an honour to work with DECC representing the SME’s within the Green Deal Pilot. Yorkshire Energy Services are also currently undertaking Green Deal Advisory accreditation and a number of staff are being trained to become qualified Green Deal assessors. Working with Stroma Certification, this accreditation will enable the organisation to offer customers an inclusive Green Deal service from assessment through to provision.
